The Illini Union was constructed in 1941. Located on the second floor is an elegant ballroom with vaulted ceilings, chandeliers, and wood floors. This venue is accessible and has all-gender restrooms on the first floor.
Parking: Parking meters are active on Friday and Saturday until 6pm, so we recommend parking in lot B-1 north of the Transportation Building, which is free on weekends. After 6pm, street parking along Matthews Ave is free.

Want to add a little history to your atmosphere? Check out Hamilton Walker’s, named for two historical landmarks. First for Champaign's first grand theater, The Walker Opera House, built around 1887. Bus: Sunday bus service ends before 7pm, but some routes (100 Yellow, 50 Green) have daytime service that ends between 6-7pm.
